Which apps own your Jira custom fields?

Every custom field in Jira records the app that created it. Paste your field data below and this page will group them by owning app, separating Atlassian's own from third-party Marketplace apps.

It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere — you can disconnect your network before pasting and it will still work.

Get your field data

  1. Sign in to Jira as an administrator.
  2. Open https://YOUR-SITE.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/field/search?maxResults=200 in a browser tab.
  3. Select all (Ctrl/Cmd + A), copy, and paste it below.

What this does and doesn't show. Custom fields are one place apps leave a trace. An app can also add dashboard gadgets or workflow rules, and some apps live entirely in their own screens and touch no configuration at all. So an app missing from this list is worth a question, not an immediate cancellation.

The full picture

The installable version scans dashboard gadgets and workflow rules as well, discovers your installed apps without you pasting anything, dates the apps it catches actually changing an issue, and totals what the ones with no configuration cost per year. It withholds all cancellation advice if any part of the scan fails, rather than under-reporting and inventing savings.

Why you can paste this safely.

Field metadata contains field names and app keys — no issue content, no personal data, no credentials. The analysis happens entirely in this tab — what you paste is never sent anywhere, and we include no analytics or third-party code of our own. Our host, Cloudflare, injects its own monitoring script into pages it serves; that is outside our control and never sees what you paste.
